calls from New Orleans after the game and all you could hear was car horns honking and people cheering. As my friend said, "If it could only be like this all the time. This has been such a long awaited win that everyone at this moment is hugging and kissing and have forgotten all about who their enemies are."
Well, it signifies the City Of New Orleans is back and ..... another big triumph IMO, Mayor Naggin is out and Mitch Landrieu was voted in, this past Saturday in the mayorial elections, as the new Mayor of New Orleans....and about time!!!!! Hallelujah!

for the Saints yesterday. I just received reports stating that in Prairieville (just outside of Baton Rouge), as the ending procession at a Catholic church the song titled, "I Belive", that the Saints use, was played as the priest and then congregation exited the church. I also heard on the barrier islan, Grand Isle, devasted by Katrina, Ike, and Gustave, the Catholic priest came into church wearing a Drew Brees Saints jersey and a Saints helmet and said the entire mass dressed this way.
The Saints are arriving at 2PM at the Louis Armstrong International airport and early this morning the police had barraicades already set up and fans have already packed in and gathered before 9AM to see the Saints. Tomorrow at 5PM their will be a parade for the Saints. I am also hearing the Saints fans disgust with Payton Manning with his un-sportsman like behavior for not shaking the hands of the Saints players after the game. I am guessing he will have to have his folks meet him in Mississippi for a visit, for quite a while, before entering back into New Orleans. No one is buying Mannings explanation.

I realized my error and tried to stop post from loading and it was too late. That was to be "devastated" by hurricane Ike etc., and "barricades" set up at the New Orleans airport. Sorry everyone.

I need to clarify. I meant the majority of people I spoke to in New Orleans and the surrounding areas are not buying into Manning's explanations. Those I spoke to are also saying, they are hearing it from others too.
Sorry for all the errors. Still too, too excited that the Saints won the Super Bowl. Geaux Saints!
